OUR HISTORY

 

It was on June 5th 1998 When Christian Life Worship Center

was born. Before that devine destination, Pastor Landrum

Sr was pastoring at Independent Baptist Church in Leavenworth,Kansas. His Son, Pastor Landrum Jr was also Pastoring at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Baxter Springs, ks. After Much prayer, both pastors agreed that it as time to move foward ,and time for Pastor Jr to begin this ministry. Both Pastors left their pastorships and came together in Co-Pastorship, and the first breath of this ministry began. At the time, the ministry had no name, it consisted of a group of people coming together to worship God. From the month of June to November 1998, evening services were held at the Ramada Inn in Leavenworth, Ks. Soon, word began to spread about the spirit moving  and falling fresh in our gatherings and where our services were held. As membership grew, we moved our services to the Leavenworth Community Center. we had our first praise and worship leader, Sister Ernestine Carter, whom we are eternally grateful for. God was moving mightly and membership continued to grow and a new location was being sought by both pastors. Our Prayers were answered on April 2, 2000 , which was the first sunday of the month, Minister Tracy Harris spoke prophecy about a location for our Ministry...on God granted us our present location and we moved into this building in May of 2000.
